Upstairs: Apparition sighted wearing gold dress

Pre-Investigation

Crystal and Michael wandered around the home, and felt spirit energy in the attic, upstairs apartment, and master bedroom. In the apartment, Crystal started receiving messages almost immediately, and Michael felt a huge energy drain. Upon entering the bedroom, Michael felt a deep pain in his lower abdomen., and Crystal was hearing “I threw him out the window.” In the attic, Michael audibly heard a voice saying something like “tell them not to leave,” and he had thought that Crystal had said it. Homeowner witnessed no voices.

Notes were compared, and the group split up into two teams — the first team went into the basement, and the second team went into the attic. Each team recorded for EVPs and checked for readings on the meters. Neither team was able to obtain any meter hits during their EVP sessions. Both sessions were videotaped.

The teams then regrouped and both went to the upstairs apartment

Upstairs apartment: Crystal and Michael picked up on multiple spirits, staying mainly in the living room and bedroom. Crystal picked up their names to be Victor and Sandy, and had been there since at least 1971. They indicated they did not like the tenant who passed, and this tenant had left. They said that they did not like the tenant, so he left. They also indicated that they had no interest in leaving. Apparently they spent most of their time bickering, but did not appear to be stuck. Michael felt a sharp pain in his knee, at which time Crystal was told that the spirit had witnessed someone falling in the driveway during a snowstorm. After discussing the previous tenant who had passed, one investigator reported smelling alcohol, as had been previously smelled in the basement. Sandy said that she had been a nurse, possibly in the Vietnam war. Her and Victor had met in the military. They were told they could leave at any time, and that there were people waiting for them. They indicated they had no interest in leaving.

Master bedroom: Crystal indicated that a spirit named Victoria inhabited this room. She was extremely distressed, and through questioning we determined she had thrown her child out the window., while suffering from post-partum depression. She had been committed, as Crystal was shown images of electroshock therapy. Crystal actually had a physical manifestation of her experience, rocking back and forth with her arms tight around her, as if in a strait jacket. Sara asked questions directed at Victora, and Crystal did her best to translate the answers. In questioning Victoria, we determined that she was the spirit wearing the gold dress with the tattered bottom that had appeared to the homeowner. Michael let her know that it was okay to leave, her son was waiting for her and it would only take a minute to get there. Crystal heard her say goodbye, and she was gone.

Living room: By request of the homeowner, Crystal and Michael checked the living room. Upon entering the room and turning out the lights, they both sat down at the end of the room. Michael found himself rubbing his thumb and forefinger together subconsciously, and had a strong feeling of the word “peaceful.” Crystal mentioned that it was an older man and woman, and the woman mostly just sat there and knitted. Neither Crystal nor Michael were able to determine what the husband did. Crystal pictured a rotary phone, and when the homeowner’s dog barked, Michael heard “shut the dog up.” He also heard “I miss the floor.” Both Crystal and Michael felt that neither person had died there, and Crystal was seeing them both separately at a nursing home.

Confirmation:

Parade: Confirmed by neighbor that the parade used to pass by the house. The parade stopped going by the house around the 1960’s.

Quiet old couple: confirmed by neighbor that they were very quiet, and sat at the end of the room most of the time where Crystal and Michael were sitting. Also confirmed by neighbor was that they passed sometime in the late 1960s, which explained the rotary phone, as well as both having gone into nursing homes at different times, and dying there. From the homeowner, we were told that the floor was painted by a previous tenant, which hid the original finish.

Physical Evidence:

We will report back on any EVP, photo and/or video evidence that we discover after analysis.

  1. It was a very exciting ordeal having these mediums come into our home. I must say that the previous 2 paranormal groups which investigated this home only came up with fragments of words recorded on their audio equipment, nothing we or they could confirm. We now have names, and dates something we can and did confirm through our own historical investigation. Thank you
